New addition to the furry family

I got a most wonderful Christmas present:

A non-standard Minuet Munckin kitten. TICA registered and all that.

His name is Finnegan O'Sullivan.
He will not be bred, of course, but I have to wait 2-3 months before he can be neutered because he's very small. Less than 2 lbs. Will be 3 months on January 1st, 2020.

Huge Destash

Finally it's here! I've been trying to do a destash for over a year now, and finally I got around to set it up..

How things work:

The destash consists of packages. Each package is $30 total ($22.50 package plus $7.50 for small flat rate box shipping).
If you get more than one package, and I manage to package everything in just one box, I will refund you the extra shipping.
If you are not located in the US, I will have to weigh the package you purchased and I will let you know the difference in price for international shipping. Fortunately polymer clay, baked, is not very heavy. Only if the package has canes it might be a bit heavier. Usually the cost is $13.50 for 1/2 lb, $22.75 from 1/2 lb to 2 lb, $34.75 from 2 to 3 lbs. So you'll have to pay extra the difference between the international postage and the $7.50 for US postage. I will mention for each package what is the weight so you can make your calculations.

The destash packages will be first listed here, with the destash video embedded.
What doesn't sell from here until Sunday Oct 13 in the morning, will be moved on my website.
At this moment there are 26 destash packages.

I will complete this post tomorrow October 10 with all the purchase buttons.
Sale will start at 9 am Central Daylight Time. I will try to update what is sold from time to time during the day; you won't be able to buy a package that's already been sold, it's just to avoid extra clicks for you.

That is why you have no idea that everybody has been admiring for several days now the record of your stalking visits to my blog and website. Because, as I said before, my website monitoring service doesn't really care that you use a Proxy, it bypasses it and sees exactly past it. Down to your address. Which, of course, I am not going to make public - just your general neighborhood.

Everybody is also laughing at seeing how desperate you are to know everything that is going on with me, and how you're stalking my Amazon Influencer store and wish list, and try to get on all the aspects of my life. Seriously, you didn't know Google Plus doesn't exist anymore? Tsk tsk tsk

I guess the fact that I've been scarce in posting public tutorials is gnawing at your liver because you have no idea what I've been working on, huh. Yes, I can still see you coming on my blog. There's a reason why I am not posting much on here.
I saw when you accessed on April 29 from the airport in Bangkok when you did your required every 6 months trip outside of Thailand.
And when you accessed during your trip in Indonesia on April 17, 28 and 29.
And when you accessed during your trip to Hong Kong on May 16.
If you're using the same proxy, you're easily recognizable. Not only that, but some monitoring software bypasses proxies, did you know that?
Also, when you're using the same device.
Windows 7? Seriously? are the later versions too hard for you to comprehend?

And as usual, your narcissism doesn't allow you to comprehend what the whole thing is about.
I did roses -  you HAD to make roses, to show off how good at making roses you are.
You completely missed the point that my tutorials are TUTORIALS. They're made to show people (and in this specific case, beginners) how to make roses themselves and not get frustrated that they can't. My tutorials aren't made to show off how good I'm at making polymer clay roses.

Easter crosses

I have showed you the Easter crosses that I will post (hopefully tomorrow) a tutorial on.
As per the request of a few people, this is what I used:

The ArtyCo crosses mold.

Black polymer clay - best is a soft clay, so preferably Premo or Cernit.

The new colors of Prima Marketing's Metallique line of waxes:

Blue Lagoon, Indian Pink, Electric Violet, Firebird, Heather Hills, Mint Sparkle,
Peacock, Old Denim and Sweet Rose

For the resin ones: For the white resin that the waxes go on, the Alumilite Amazing 10 minutes resin (all Prima Marketing waxes and media are pretty much made for that, as they're home decorating essentially) - the price on the link is for a two pack, select just the one pack.

For the transparent resin, I used UV resin, you can use the Magic Glos or the Chinese one, up to you.

Ice Resin Crystal Opal flakes or any of the Lumiere Lusters flakes. I personally prefer the Ice Resin ones.

Can you believe that she's at it again?

It's been barely a month and Sweetcheeks is at it again!

I got someone contacting me about it on Monday. Someone Wednesday. And someone just a few minutes ago.

She is once again contacting people who comment on my Kalyana facebook page, to tell them to stop following and subscribing and supporting me.
She also tells them that I have been bullying her for a long time and that she is now "in Court with me".

She has been told by so many to stop messaging them. She has been reported, repeatedly to Facebook. She is still at it.

Just to make things clear. In case you didn't read it, my last post on this subject.
The continuation from this post from last year.

To be very honest, I think that she went nuts once I reached 10k subscribers.

How utterly insecure must one be to do this? To contact another artist's followers to ask them to stop following? I don't know, I actually have no words anymore for her behavior. It has gone way past brazen, past stupid, past any quantification. And you will see by my response, that she is too stupid to realize that all she does is to actually dig herself deeper, to the point that she might lose everything. Because I actually am not far from signing the contract with that law firm in Thailand to sue the heck out of her sorry behind. She doesn't understand nice, she doesn't understand reason, she doesn't understand logic, she has no concept of ethics or morality, honestly she is the picture of the pathological narcissist disorder as defined by modern psychology. And I wonder how many times before she got in trouble because of it.

If you're one of my subscribers/followers, if she gets to you too, just report her.

Report her to facebook, report her even to Youtube.
You don't even have to contact me. Of course, if you do, I'd be delighted to have even more proof of what she's doing, but if you're not comfortable with it it is ok, I understand perfectly.

Anyway, here we go, I thought that maybe this should be made public. Different than her, I prefer to have it all in the open. Then there's no "she said/she said" and we all know where we stand.

Think that when she sent me the email, that week I received messages and emails from no less than FIVE people about her contacting them asking them to stop following me/subscribing to me.

Yes, I know I was very blunt with her. At this point I think that does not deserve any politeness or niceness or compassion or anything anymore. But notice that (besides the fact that, in fact, she doesn't seem to understand at all what has happened with Etsy) she doesn't want to discuss anything about what she did, no apologies, nothing. It's all a "I can do whatever the f&& I want, and if you dare at any time not let me, you are bullying me and I am going to cry what a bad person you are."

Think about how many artists she has made to give up with her bullying.

Only that she was stupid and didn't (and still doesn't) realize that 1. I couldn't be bullied and that 2. Samantha (Jessama Tutorials) is very loved by her subscribers me and Sam are probably the only ones she didn't (and won't) ruin.

Hello Day!

I’m writing to you now, because I find out, you will never stop to  be angry on me and bullying me…
I tried to forget you and do my way as I do usually, I never had copied your ideas or any of your tutorials (because I have so many my owns) , you are very much mistaken… All my stones imitations were made by me after a lot of searches and studying the natural stones by photos and video with real stones.

I just trying live by my own, without any of dramas, and  I do not make any of posts about our conflict at my social medias, I never criticized you or your works and tutorials, I never tried to stole your subscribers or your supporters.. For me the word “to support” have one more meaning, and it is not a financial side - it is only personal, unphysical supporting… 

You did a copyright infringements on my video tutorials on Etsy, and I can not confirm that they were copied, as it will not be true! I will explain why:

1.First of all, my video on “Purple Cobalt Calcite Drusy Crystals from Polymer Clay. Realistic Stone Imitation from polymer clay. Faux gemstone.” - this tutorial and technique is very different from that tutorial you shown on your YouTube, I were used completely different technique with using alcohol inks. And In this video tutorial shown only the process of creating the purple round shape crystal, but there is no video about any heart shape stone. 

So please, just stop to claiming on it.

2.The second video is: “How to make Faux Yellow Calcite from polymer clay. Gemstone Imitation.” - in this video, were use technique of making my faux Pink quartz, which, yes, were shown in my video for sell on Etsy and sent material for Lucy clay magazine. BUT. I used the technique for making this both stones based on my first video tutorial I made and published on my YouTube Channel for  2months before you published your first video on faux pink quartz which you were mentioned in your copyright infringement. 

It looks just like you forgot about it, so here is it:

So, I ask you, to remember that we a still humans, and I ask you to stop your intervention in to my life and my art.. because if you are remembering, first you learn everything new from me and you were very appreciated my videos.. I still remember your nice and generous comments below my videos.. we could be a good colleagues.. but not a fighters..

If you still angry on me, because of that my comment on your impatient (for me) question about polishing machine, I just sorry about that I couldn’t be more supportable and patient to you, than you were waiting from me that time..

I appeal to your humanity and prudence, as well as to understanding! Lets stop this and lets forget about this unpleasant conflict, which taking so many energy from both of as!

You are giving yourself too much importance, as usual.

I did not "bully" you again at all. By "bully" meaning that I didn't get fooled by your lies and outright brazen behavior. Even if now and then you still can't control yourself and have to copy one thing or another.

As you're stalking my page all the time, you already saw the post in which I said that Etsy took nine months to process the copyright infringement I had posted LAST YEAR IN JUNE. June 2018.

Remember? That June when you tried to close my channel by posting false copyright infringement on my live broadcast showing something completely different than what you had ever done - showing people how to make faux gemstones with Pardo - just because you got scared that people are going to leave you now that someone else is teaching them how to do faux gemstones.

Also after months in which you tried desperately to either come up with something that I said I would make, before me, or blatantly copying what I just did.

After months in which you stalked and bullied my subscribers and sponsors. You don't realize I have screenshots and that those people are willing and ready to testify for me in Court? You just did that to someone a week ago, for God's sakes! And you have the nerve of talking about bullying?

Spare me the blablabla on the differences between what you did and what I did. Everybody knows exactly what you did, and the only ones you can still fool are the newcomers. You didn't lose over 100 patrons because of me. You lost them because of your lack of professionalism, your greediness, your rudeness and your despicable character.

I learned something new from YOU? I was doing art since your parents were children. I've worked with polymer clay probably since you were playing in the sand. Yes, I did comment on your videos when I just started my channel, and even tried to give you advice, because I like to help emerging artists, until I figured out exactly what you were doing.

It seems that you are used to bullying everybody without anyone rising up to put you in your place, the same as you're used to lying through your teeth without anyone ever daring to tell you that you're lying. You always tried to intimidate anyone who dared making faux gemstones out of polymer clay because somewhere in your twisted mind you think you have monopoly on that. You did that to Samantha Burroughs from Jessama Tutorials, and to at least 3 other artists that I know of. Guess what? You have no monopoly on anything. The same as the others before you didn't, that is why you presented Victoria Hughes', Maggie Maggio's, Helen Breil's and other artists techniques as being yours, without the slightest credit given to anyone, letting people believe that YOU came up with all that. On things that were done in polymer clay probably before you were even born.

You have no respect for anyone, and you thought that just because I'm an older lady and I'm disabled I would be easy to intimidate. Well, that's not the case. Even your small mind should have understood that someone my age, from Eastern Europe, who has survived at least communism and cancer, is definitely not someone you want to meddle with. I know Psychology, I know Pedagogy, I know Law, I know Business and Marketing and on top of it all I know exactly how East Europeans think. Just because I was too busy with my education and a career and had Art just as a hobby before being diagnosed with cancer doesn't mean that I didn't do art. Different that you, I actually went to art school from 1971 to 1979. Were you even born then? I doubt it.

This is how things are right now:

Yes, it can all stop. As long as you keep in mind that I have a full dossier with solid, hard proof with everything that you have done. No ambiguity. Starting with filing false copyright claims to shut my Youtube channel , and ending with your correspondence to people you tried to bully. And, on the side, with what you have done to others, to show that it's a trend and a habit with you. I think you might want to look at the laws in Thailand when it comes to copyright infringement and the other behavior you have been having.

If you try just one more time to copy anything of mine - and be warned that by now I have registered with the US Copyright Office ALL my faux gemstone tutorials, my sponsors were kind enough to help me with the expense - or to try to harass and intimidate any of my subscribers/followers/sponsors, I am already in contact with a Law Office in Thailand, have signed a contract and they're on stand-by to file to bring you to Court. I could have done that last year, but I thought that you had kids. But at this point I don't care anymore, because everything you're doing you bring on yourself.

Ball's in your yard now. Mind your own business and your own art, leave people alone and it will stop here. If you don't, you're already warned. I am not threatening or "bullying" you, just stating facts.

I asking you one more time, stop bulling me and harassment me. You don’t know me at all and you cannot tell about me nothing. Especially, stop to to get personal! In my previous letter to you, I didn’t mentioned any bad things you did to me - I just asked you to forget me, so please, just stop!

The issue was just your copyright infringements on two of my video tutorial on Etsy. That’s all. I explained and clarified to you, that that two tutorials are only my personal experience and practical achievement. I gave to you the links and explanation regarding this issue. 

So, let’s just close this case and you will never post your posts about me or about my works, because you no have any rights to humiliate and condemn me. Just go your way, and I will go my own.

And behind me there are many people who have made notarized statements, sent me screenshots, pitched in money to help me in this matter.

A lot of people asked me why I don't block her on facebook. I did. Long time ago. Unfortunately, on facebook anyone can make a new account with fake information at any time. So she still is latched on my facebook page watching it like a hawk.

Look at this screenshot. You can see how she first came here from the facebook post with this link, and then she had it already on her bookmarks favorites and came directly, later the same day. Look at how LONG her visit was. She had the post open in a tab all day being busy about it.

I have her blocked on my website, but blogger is not owned by me so I can't IP block someone.

Don't get me wrong, I can perfectly understand how many she can get hoodwinked. Because 1. people don't take the time to check the other party's story; 2. people don't take the time to put two and two together (as in, yanno, look at all the stuff this one did and all the stuff this other one did, hmmm) and 3. groupie mentality and 4. Seriously, when you're a newcomer to this whole thing, and you got someone who has "worked hard" for 5 years of youtube channeling and MTCN (that's marketing companies that promote your channel for a % of your ad revenue on youtube) they DO look like an established artist compared to someone who hasn't even been on youtube for 2 years. That's all people look at.

Easy sanding solution as presented on youtube.

Edit for important information: So this is VERY IMPORTANT!
As much as it is possible to buy an adapter to use the piece that comes with the sanding disks on a dremel, do NOT use a dremel to sand polymer clay. Unless you have a supremely steady hand and perfect control, due to the high speed rotation, it will EAT UP your polymer clay. That is the reason the pedicure wand is needed.


To make this whole thing short:

You need a pedicure wand.

Why pedicure wand and not something else, like an electric nail file, or defoliator, etc? Simply because the electric nail files are usually quite flimsy and pretty much made out of plastic and cordless. The ones that aren't... well, are quite pricey.

I looked for one that would have 3 qualities: be made out of metal, be corded and be of a decent price. The fact that the pad is almost 2" also helps.

 This set comes with a sponge pad, with velcro on one side, that is supposed to be put on the drill pad.

For people who live in other countries with Amazon: I do not know how the items are called in your language so I couldn't search. Essentially the wand is called "electric callus remover" and the sanding discs kit is "2 inch sanding discs hook and loop with foam pad"

How to use:

Simply glue that sponge pad on the pedicure wand's pad using Superglue, Gorilla Glue or Loctite (I used Loctite) and let it harden properly for 24 hours.

And you're good to go.

I suggest that you use a permanent marker to write the grit on the back of the sanding discs, as they don't have that, and it will be easier for you to figure out which is the one you want.

Of course, you can choose another brand, for each of the two things you need, but these are the ones I found the best deal for the price.

Cost of both is $40. Much cheaper, much better quality than Polyfast and also it's CORDED, no more batteries!

NOTE: this will not substantially shorten the time you spend sanding, as you still need to sand thoroughly, but it will definitely not be hard on your hands.

 

Update on the "drama and the alarm bell"

It seems that as soon as I started getting the copyright registrations for my videos, Etsy finally started moving on the copyright complaints I had filed last year in June, after Sweetcheeks had filed false copyright claims to stop me from doing lives and (as she hoped) close my channel. So they pulled down a couple of her tutorials from Etsy. Seven months after I had filed the claims. Way to go, Etsy.

Anyway, she emailed me. That she thought I stopped "bullying" her, that she never "stoled" my subscribers, that all she did was from "her hard work". Honestly, the whole email was just one lie after another - btw, not farther back than a week before this I had received again messages from people who used to be her patrons, sending me screenshots of her bullying them on "why you left me and you support this evil old woman" and a few days after she "launched" her texture that is a replica of the one I showed how to make in not one, but two of my tutorials, one in 2017 and one in 2018.

I TRIED to explain to her the whole Etsy thing amd that it had happened after she filed false copyright claims on my live broadcasts (as you all know she did that with other artists, of which the most known is Samantha from Jessama Tutorials). And (in quite a bit of words, because I really get riled up when someone pees on my leg and tells me it's raining) I told her exactly how much I believe (NOT!) her lies and she should stop acting like the wounded damsel in distress.

Do you think she got it? Nope. She sent me another email, the gist of it, being, obviously, that for her "bullying her" means "you must let me do my copying from others and you're not allowed to say anything and you're not allowed to make tutorials on the same subjects that I do".
This time I replied in Russian, using Google translate. My Russian isn't awesome and I don't have a cyrillic characters keyboard, but I'm sure it was a better Russian than her English without using Google translate. I also told her that this will be the last time I will let things pass, but if at any time in the future she will continue to copy me or harass any of my sponsors/subscribers, I am already in touch with a law firm in Thailand and I will sue her behind off and ask for damages. And advised her to consult Thailand law on the matter.

I guess this time she got it as she didn't email me again. Well, maybe she did.

Aaaanyway. Of coursenow she's posting excerpts of my email to her, pointing her finger at the "mean old lady bullying her" and whining to her subscribers and patrons, who, of course, don't know better and believe her.

Guess what, Sweetcheeks? Yes, I'm a mean old lady with the people who deserve it. YOU started it. And unfortunately, this time there wasn't an artist afraid they'll going to lose their income and not be able to pay their bills if they stand up to you.

The thing is, you can't stop yourself from copying attempts and from trying to "up me". I talk about doing a locket in one of my lives in which I announced also I'll be making a lot of hearts for Valentine's Day - you jump and make a heart locket tutorial. I show my sponsor's monthly reward being a special Mokume Gane - you jump and make mokume gane hearts.

Keep going. But you know what are the sad facts?

You've been on Youtube since November 2014.
Your first video was following a tutorial of Anna Oskina (of course with no credits given to anyone).
It's January 2019.
You have 246 public videos posted on Youtube. With about 40 different subjects, really, everything else is rehashing the same thing with different colors.
You have 50k subscribers after 4 1/2 years. You monetize your channel and you got a marketing contract splitting the advertising fees.

I've been on Youtube since May 2017.
My first video was following a tutorial of eleojota - with full credits given to her.
It's January 2019.
I have 455 public videos posted on Youtube. With HUNDREDS of different subjects.
I have 10k subscribers after 1 year and 9 months. I don't monetize my channel, don't advertise, nada.

At the beginning of August 2016 (one year and 9 months after your first video) you had 17 videos posted and 4.1K subscribers.

Simple math. That tells exactly who would be prone to be the copier and who would be the creative artist.

I only compare myself to myself. I only try to do better than I did, not than anyone else does. I am not defined by what people think of me. Probably that is why my channel is not about putting myself on a pedestal, but about sharing what I know -  and I don't answer only the questions of people who pay me a monthly subscription, I answer all questions from people who want to learn.

This is to update you on the helping Debbie go through her treatment. Please scroll down for updates.

If you're not familiar with the type of brain cancer she was diagnosed with (Glioblastoma IDH wild type) you can find information HERE. It's the most aggressive type of brain cancer that gives the shortest survival.

Deborah's story as told by herself.

" I realize you don't know me since you're new, and I haven't been able to be active in the group for a while now. The day after Christmas a brain tumor was found with a CT scan, and an MRI was done the following day, showing a tumor the size of a golf ball. Shortly after that I was taken by ambulance late one evening to the Corvallis Regional Medical Center, about 2 hours from where I live on the Oregon coast. I was slipping into a coma when I got there and they had to do emergency brain surgery or I would have died. It was a long surgery and they removed as much of the tumor as they could, but couldn't take it all without destroying and removing brain tissue itself. It has now already spread to the other side of the brain and is quickly forming others, as is the nature of this beast.

Samples were sent to multiple pathology labs across the state, including the Oregon Health Science University. All agreed that it is glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of brain cancer. Though there is no cure, and not even much that will slow it down for long, I am going to pursue treatment, both chemo and radiation, which could either help for a short while, or make it worse and go faster. I will do what the medical field can do, but ultimately I know that God is the one who has the final say-so over my life, short or long. I've experienced miracles and seen many others. I'm a fighter, not a quitter, and will fight with all I have to not just surrender to this. so will see what He does on this section of my journey. I'm here for the glory of God, and I love Him passionately! I've had many opportunities to encourage others each step of the way, and I have been so blessed by it, and count it as a privilege. Sorry this is so long, maybe I just felt the need to ramble, but if I don't speak my heart now,while I still have a voice to express, then when? Those are my thoughts, anyway. And if I'm being a little selfish in sharing my thoughts, well then that's where I'm at, and it has to be okay. I can only be where I am, and live that moment, being present in it.

.......... I'm trying to catch up after being out of commission for too long. Clay withdrawal isn't fun at all, and I definitely prefer fun - all I can get of it! So, as Day always says, "Happy Claying!"

I had asked Deb Friday evening to try and do a donate button on her Paypal, following my tutorial on how to do subscriptions without using Patreon, but creating a donation button instead.
Why I chose to try and help her this way and not through GoFundMe, is because that way requires more steps, there are more fees and it takes longer for the money to actually get to her.

The thing is, Deb has issues focusing and concentration and following up. So when I didn't get from her the code, I waited for her daughter to get there Saturday (yesterday) so she can help Deb do it.
Unfortunately Deborah was set to go have a hair cut (truth is, the front part of her head was, obviously, shaved for the surgery so she only has hair on the back of her head) but due to the time zone difference, I would have been asleep by the time they would be back.  There are a lot of changes in behavior when having that type of tumor destroying your brain, so we have to have patience with her. I'll try and get  with Kari over Skype this afternoon. Deborah pretty much is awake at night and sleeps most of the day, so it's a bit hard to coordinate.
